Annual Fund Drive

The St. Agnes Annual Fund has enjoyed tremendous success attributable to the participation and support of St. Agnes School families, parishioners, faculty and staff, grandparents, alumni, businesses and friends. The St. Agnes Annual Fund is comprised of three (3) separate committees under the umbrella of the Annual Fund and Development, each responsible for a set of objectives and all working in tandem to realize the St. Agnes School's goals established each year. The committees are:

Last year, 2009-10, the St. Agnes Annual Fund met and exceeded all of its goals in the areas of: the Annual Fund Drive, the M.A.G.I.C. Match Program and Grant Procurement. Total Annual Fund receipts for the 2009-10 school year exceeded $156,000. Monies raised during 2009-10 for the Annual Fund were applied to achieve the St. Agnes School's 2009-10 SMART-Connect goals allowing our school to purchase:

  • New sets of three desktop computers for each of the 19 classrooms
  • SMART Boards for all of the classrooms (also with assistance from a grant awarded by the Susan Cook House Educational Trust and St. Agnes Parish auction proceeds)
  • An on-line communication software package
    • On-line access to grades
    • Assignment & study information
    • Classroom schedules
    • Missing assignments

Past St. Agnes School Annual Fund drives have funded or helped to fund the creation of the Preschool area including the remodeling and automating of the Library; the set of 30 laptop computers on a mobile cart for classroom instruction; and the SMART Lab computer room upgrade of technology.

Contributions to this year's 2010-11 Annual Fund Drive will be applied to the following St. Agnes School Goals:

  • Replacing wooden playground (Kindergarten)
  • Procuring Science Kits for Grades K through 6
  • Replacing Jr. High desks
  • Procuring additional school ventilation system (ventilators)
